John Mulaney is a popular comedian known for appealing to quirky audiences. The comedian actually auditioned to be a cast member of SNL along with Nick Kroll, Donald Glover and Ellie Kemper. Although he did not get the role, he came on as a writer and even helped developed Bill Hader's iconic character Stefon. He wrote for the show for six years and came back in 2018.
